Cocoa Futures Trading – Market Price
Most Cocoa Futures Trading is bought by three or four large companies who are alleged to act very like monopolies. Small cocoa farmers have very little power to influence the market price and consequently prices are kept very low. A number of manufacturers produce Fair Trade chocolate where cocoa farmers receive a higher and more consistent remuneration.
